Christian Missionary Home Available

Mr. And Mrs. Spencer have purchased a 30 year old home overlooking Lake Norfork which has one master bedroom with a king size bed and corner computer desk with a large walk-in closet.? Also, there is one huge bedroom for six (three bunk beds) and chairs/tables for homework, etc. as well as bookshelves and another walk-in closet with large storage spaces.? Both bedrooms have bathrooms attached.?? The home is on a large lot which is mowed and maintained by the owners and there is a large storage shed available if needed at no additional costs during tenancy.??? If you are interested in this home for a period of as little as one weekend to as much as a few years on furlough, either email or snail mail your name, address, telephone numbers, giving the names of any previous landlords where you have stayed on previous furloughs or give names of persons who will vouch for your character and know you well.   Also, give us the name of your mission and its contact so that we can be assured that you are truly a missionary.   Send all of this information to the following address: Rick & Brenda Spencer; 123 CR 769; Robinson Point; Mountain Home, Arkansas 72653 or email them at brendaspencer@rickspencer.com.  Although not necessary, they would also appreciate it if you could send or email a picture of you and/or your family.  This home is about two blocks away from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Spencer's own home and would be perfect for a missionary couple with a large family on furlough.

The cost to rent this beautiful home is only $300.00 per month which includes all utilities or $100.00 per week or any portion of the week which also includes all utilities, so basically you are getting the house free. There is a deposit required for any damages or failure to clean the home after use of $300.00. This home could easily rent for $750.00 per month plus utilities without any furnishings, but Rick and Brenda feel that the Lord Jesus would have them share His bounty with those who have need for a quiet and peaceful setting to rest and recuperate on their furlough after "fighting the good fight" for the Lord Jesus. It has a large dining/sun room attached to another outdoor roofed breezeway. The kitchen has a pantry where there is space for foodstuffs as well as a washer/dryer and has microwave oven, propane oven, dishwasher, countertop propane 4 burner unit with hood, etc. There is a large living room with fireplace and console piano. The backyard has a wooden swing set and a children?s playhouse. The home is fully furnished with some linens and towels. The house is located in Sunset Knolls subdivision which is in rural Baxter County, Arkansas, overlooking Lake Norfork. Between the lake and the house is government property known as Robinson Point and nature trails are rampant throughout the woods below. A healthy herd of white-tail deer are usually seen in the early morning or late evening. The road in front is not a throughway and is only used by residents. The park below has a huge playground and swimming area.

Mountain Home, Arkansas is located in north central Arkansas just a few miles from the Missouri border.   The area is known for excellent fishing and hunting opportunities and for its "down home" friendly citizens.    There are two large lakes: Norfork Lake about a 5 minute walk from the house and Bull Shoals Lake which is only a 25 minute drive away.   There are three beautiful rivers filled with trout: Norfork River, White River and Buffalo River.  Additional information about the area can be found at www.enjoymountainhome.com and www.mtnhome.net.   Also, for the missionaries that want to go to college while on furlough, there is a beautiful state college.   Information about Arkansas State University Mountain Home can be found at www.asumh.edu.  Some pictures of the Spencer's mission home can be seen below:
